Bill 168, an amendment to Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) came into force in 2010 with the aim of protecting workers from harassment and violence.

Employers are required to assess risks in the workplace with regard to workplace harassment and violence, develop corresponding policies and procedures for investigating and handling complaints and incidents, and implement proper communication and programs for protecting workers.

With input from owners,  supervisors, and employees,  I can assist in the development of a comprehensive program to meet your employer obligations under this Act.

When employees make a complaint about harassment or violence in the workplace, the employer is obligated by law to conduct a through investigation into the allegations. In the event of a complaint of workplace harassment or violence, I can provide a timely investigation in a neutral, fair and through manner and deliver a written report outlining the outcomes of the investigation.
